On & Around the Park

With a direct access to the Village Bowling Green, we are ideally placed to enjoy long sunny days with friends.   Go Fly Fishing on the River Blackadder  or on  any of the other rivers and  reservoirs close by.   Enjoy Golf  at any of the five venues within fifteen minutes easy reach by car, or a walk along endless lanes and footpaths.  The  Rhymer’s Stone Viewpoint  marks the site of the Eildon Tree under which, legend says, Thomas The Rhymer met the Fairie Queen.  Our varied regional landscape allows all types of cyclist to enjoy their favourite terrain:  fast downhill off road stretches, strenuous road climbs or relatively flat country lanes for all the family.  Or finally just enjoy a pleasant day out at one of the many attractions that are close at hand.
