Sales Job description

Vacancy for a Caravan Sales Executive, Berwickshire, Scottish Borders.

Blackadder Caravan Park is a long established Quality Caravan Park operation with an ambitious growth agenda.  Committed to ensuring good working practices and conditions, to facilitate the performance and retention of capable staff.  We now seek to recruit an experienced Static Caravan Sales Executive. Continuity is the principle upon which our success in based, therefore the ideal candidate is likely to have a settled career history.

Duties, Roles and tasks

With a preset marketing plan The successful candidate will implement a sales strategy to capture and convert leads to Static Caravan Sales.

Supported by a strong web presence, Focussed PPC and fully integrated traditional and Social Media Campaigns .               

Responsibilities and accountabilities.

Participate in Annual and Monthly marketing reviews to consider past and future events, tactics and targets for publication.

Understand and communicate the business USP.

Manage caravan buy backs from departing owners. 

Conduct planned and ad hoc face to face product presentations matching customers’ needs and expectations.  Negotiate and close onsite sales, entering transactions onto industry software.

Develop and maintain good relationships with existing clients.  Identify, capture and manage leads on site, online from telephone points of contact,  to target and engage with potential new customers so as to convert  to viewing appointments.

Organise open days, new product launches, industry and product customer awareness days  themed around industry events and topics in the market place.  Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.

To Confirm quotations in writing, and follow them up in line with best practice “shopping cart abandonment” principles, using set frequencies for subsequent points of contact.

The Ideal Candidate.

The successful applicant will be a consistent performer with a positive and willing attitude. With  a minimum of two years direct experience in a similar sales environment.

Able to demonstrate:

  •             Self-motivation and drive.
  •             A competitive streak.

.              A flair and ability for Negotiation, Technical Sales and Sales Management. 

To be computer literate and hold a clean driving licence.

Salary circa £20k + commissions
